How do I get to the Konunsgard stronghold? ›

Paddle your boat through the Lake of Nine to the area near the Forgotten Caverns. (Or if you've already been there, just warp to the King's Hollow Mystic Gateway). Near the gateway, you'll find a pedestal to place the Entry Stone. Doing so will open the doors to Konunsgard.

To free Reginn the Dragon in God of War you'll need to gain access to the region of Konunsgard, which lies to the north west of the Midgard map. To gain access to the region itself, you'll need to undertake the fifth and final Favor quest from Brok and Sindri at Brok's Shop in the middle of the Lake of Nine.

Konunsgard is an optional area accessible from the Shores of Nine. The entrance is to the northwest of the center of the lake, with an entrance to the left of the Light Elf Outpost through the King's Hollow. This is where to find the Favor Hail to the King and The Fire of Reginn.

You need to talk to the dwarf brothers in the shop in tyrs temple to start the quest and get the entry stone. go back to the dwarf's shop, if they don't give you the quest then you probably need to do the previous dwarven favors (e.g. Andvari for Brok and the whetstone for Sindri).

To unlock this quest, you must first complete all of Brok and Sindri's previous requests which include: Second Hand Soul, Fafnir's Hoard, Deus Ex Malachite and Family Business. Once you've completed all of that, wait until you get to the point in the main story where you ask the dwarfs to forge a key to Tyr's chamber.

Dragon Reginn Location

Head West off the Lake of Nine and down a small passageway to get to Konunsgard. Keep following the quest, and you'll find the third dragon.

Reginn is the last of God of War's dragons and has the most to do before you can finally free it. This is because you have to do two quests each for the dwarven blacksmith brothers, Brok and Sindri, in order to open up the region Reginn is in, Konunsgard.

If you can't find the pedestals, make the Favor to free the dragon your active quest, and the game's compass will guide you to their locations. Destroy the pedestals (and any enemies) when you find them, and once you've cleared all three, return to the dragon and free it from its noose.

Freeing all the dragons rewards Kratos with a highly coveted dragon tear, a legendary resource used to upgrade the Shattered Gauntlet of Ages talisman. Head over to the Shacknews God of War guide for more walkthroughs and collectible guides – there's plenty more to find!

You'll pick up Brok and Sindri's first Favors fairly early in to the campaign. All you need to do to add these to your list of Goals is push the Triangle button when the blue Favor icon appears at one of their shops.

How do you open the chest on the Isle of Death? ›

Isle of Death Legendary Chest Locations

This is the legendary chest that you might have already seen while doing the Unfinished Business Favor during the early game as it is right beside one of the four braziers. Once you have the Blades of Chaos from The Sickness, burn the bramble and open the chest.

The first Lore Marker is inside the old boat. You need to destroy some rubble next to a corpse to reveal it. The second is deeper inside the stronghold. If you dock at the next available stop after the destroyed boat, you can go on foot and climb up some wooden boards to reach the second marker.

You unlock it by completing all of Sindri and Brok's individual favors. Return to Brok's Shop in the center of the Lake of Nine to be given the quest. You'll travel to Konunsgard for the favor. The entrance is King's Hollow, which is to the left of the Light Elf Outpost through a cave.

The Favor, Deus Ex Malachite, is a Side Quest in God of War. This quest can only be undertaken once you have completed Second Hand Soul in the Volunder Mines for Brok. Once the waters of the Lake of Nine recede twice, speak to Brok again to obtain a new task to enter the Landsuther Mines.

God of War Fafnir's Hoard: How to get the Northri entry stone. You need to complete Fafnir's Hoard, one of Sindri's Favors—or side quests if you prefer—to get the entry stone required for the mechanism on the gate of Northri Stronghold.

Head to Konunsgard

Talk to Brok to start the favor. Head to the Konunsgard northwest of the Lake of Nine. Head inside the cave and pass by King's Hollow. Use the entry stone to open the gate.
